LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND:
Recent reports of the Iran nuclear talk's numerous deadline extensions have baffled many observers, but it wasn't until recently that it was discovered what was causing the prolonging. Iranian diplomat Javad Zarif stated that progress has been made earlier, and that a nuclear deal would be cemented by June.
The deal, which is hoped to reduce tensions between Iran and Israel, has been reportedly sailing smoothly. US Secretary of State John Kerry mentioned "disagreements exterior of nuclear negotiations" which "delayed the deliberations with Iran."
However, spikes in the meeting room's electricity usage have furrowed brows among political watch dogs, and it was not until Wednesday that the source of the rises in activity was discovered. An insider report stated that during a game of 8-player Super Smash Brothers Brawl, there was a "brief" argument between President Obama and Kerry concerning whose turn it was to be "player 1." Upon having his controller taken away, President Obama repeatedly averted Kerry's attempts to turn on the Wii U until Kerry complied and gave him the remote assigned to "player 1," causing electricity usage to grow due to the idled state of the console. The settlement between the two was described as "carefully carried out," which Zarif mentioned when discussing the "significant progress" made in the Iranian negotiations. According to Iranian President Khamenei, Kerry attempted to exact revenge by playing as a "particularly cheap" character, Little Mac. Secretary of State John Kerry was not able to be reached for comment.
